I am planting my first flower garden and have chosen Celosia, Fescue, Verbena, Lobelia, Alyssum, Phlox, Petunia, and Starflower. Can you tell me if this is a good choice for my area and a first garden?

Your flower choices should provide a nice variety of blossom shape and color. Remember to plant the Celosia, Fescue, Verbena, Phlox, Petuna and Starflower in a sunny bed. The Lobelia and Alyssum will grow well in either sun or shade.
