The Q&A Archives: Source for Shrimp Plant (Justicia Brandegeana)

Question: I'm looking for a plant with a yellow flower with white shoots and dark green leaves. I bought a plant in AL and it was called a shrimp plant. I found a picture of it in a Michigan Bulb Co. Catalog (spring 1992) I called them and they no longer carry it and could not give me any information. They called it "Golden Candle" #641. I would like to find one again. Please see if you Can help me. Thank you. John czerw Old Forge, PA

Answer: The shrimp plant is Justicia Brandegeana. It's available through, Logee's Greenhouses 141 North St. Danielson, CT 06239 860-774-8038
