| Yes, you can grow them if you get raw, UNroasted peanuts. (You may be able to get these at a grocery store, or you may need to go to a health food store.) For fastest germination, remove the outer shell or pod, then soak the seeds overnight before planting. Peanuts prefer light, well-drained soil. They need a long growing season (about 5 months), so you can start them indoors then transplant them outdoors when the weather warms up.
