Charming Heart is great for hybridizing midribs. Mine tends to poly a lot. I love polys, so, I hybridize it as much as I can to get poly crosses, so far, no crosses have the poly gene.

So far, Waves of Joy isn't doing well for me. I purchased it last spring. It's one fan, with one scape (not an issue being its first year). But the biggest issue for me is that the first 4 blooms never opened, they open slightly and stop, so I haven't seen it bloom yet. I want her pollen, and pics lol
The weather has been between the mid-high 70's to mid to high 80's. Night temps in the 50's. It is in a full-sun spot. I'm wondering whether the night temps are too cool for it. Has anyone else experienced this? I've never had this issue with the other plants that I purchased at the same time as Waves Of Joy.
It's been an anticlimax for me for a week now, seeing that "it's gonna bloom tomorrow," then by 1 pm the next day, then 4pm, then 6pm, 8pm, still not opened, then it starts to wilt.
Knowing me, after I post this, I bet a bloom finally opens for me... "Crossing everything"

Update early 2019, Don't RIP Waves of Joy! What a disappointment. I won't purchase it again. It never came back after we had 2ft of snow hang around for over a week, which was very rare for us. Frustrating.
