The (Spacecoast Starburst X Awesome Blossom) seedling was eventually registered as Lady Majestic in 2014

[ Clematis 'Sweet Summer Love' | Posted on August 23, 2018 ]

I bought Sweet Summer Love in 2014,. It took until 2017 to reach maturity.
The plant was in full bloom in 2017 when one side started to die. Within weeks the entire plant was dead.
It was supposed to be fragrant, but mine had no fragrance at all.
I posted a few pictures on mine when it was in full bloom showing it in all its glory before it died.
Because it had no fragrance I never even considered replacing it.
So my experience is 3 thumbs down, I would love to hear how it did for others.

Anyone ever get good pollen from this one? I've had it 2 years and the pollen was always greasy or grainy.
I have been able to set pods.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cereal City Sun Catcher') | Posted on July 28, 2016 ]

Cereal City Sun Catcher was named by Greg Youngchild. Greg bought the seeds on the daylily auction and, when they first bloomed, Greg decided they weren't what he wanted and he shipped all the seedlings of that cross to me.
CCSC was a small runt, separated from the other 3 clumps, and when I asked Greg, he told me to toss it. Well, I don't toss unbloomed seedlings.
It took one year to establish and was a blooming double-sized fan the second year. It starts the season as a broken pattern blend of pink and yellow. By the end of the season it's a narrower twisting yellow.
It's a color and shape changing plant from beginning to end of the season. I have nothing else that does this in such a dramatic fashion,
Very long bloom season. Excellent plant.
I have seen 6 branches, with bud counts in the 40's when it's at its best, and it is pretty easy to set pods with.

I watched CCSC for 4 years and then told Greg we need to register this one. Greg, being from Battle Creek, Michigan, chose the name.

Anyway, I wanted to share the name, the history, and the story about how and why this one was registered, and how it was named.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'The Goldilocks Effect') | Posted on July 29, 2014 ]

I bought The Goldilocks Effect in the summer of 2013.
The first time I saw it in bloom is this summer 2014, and by far it is one of the best looking polychromes I have ever seen.
Size is huge, flowers open wide with flawless blooms, seems to be an easy pod setter, branching and bud count are good and I expect it to only get better as plant grows to clump size, and it grows in the frozen tundra of NE Wisconsin!
How sweet is that?
I have been spreading the pollen on everything, this plant is on the grow forever list for me.
Highly recommended.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Thailand Sunset') | Posted on June 29, 2014 ]

Reverse bi-tone, starts out in the morning with a purple dusky overlay. As the day wears on, the color changes into a beautiful sunset orange.
It will set some polytepal bloom, but not reliably.
I have seedlings out of Thailand Sunset, but I've learned that the unexpected is to be expected. I never know what I'm going to get.

Molly McButter (Klehm, 2003) height 32", bloom 6", season La, Rebloom, Dormant, Tetraploid, Fragrant, Pastel pink self above small green throat.

Klehm has this one listed as Molly Mc Butter, and the AHS had it listed as Molly Me Butter, it is now registered as Molly McButter, so it's still wrong, I think
