Hybrid Begonia 'Gloire de Lorraine' (Lemoine)

The first grade of the group of hybrids Lorraine, bred in 1891 in France.
Since 1940, classified as Begonia x сheimantha.

These begonias do not form tubers and do not have a pronounced rest period. Propagated by cuttings. The group of tuberous begonias is defined only due to its origin from the semi-tubular Begonia dregei .

Compact plant with pink sterile flowers, blooming, usually in autumn and winter.

Requires a small pot diameter of 3 - 3.5 inches.

The soil is a loose mixture of leafy, soddy earth, peat and sand in equal parts. Good drainage is required.
The substrate should be slightly acidic. PH 5-6
