I have kept this plant in pots and in the ground. It is lovely for woodland gardens as well as shady patios. It likes wet feet and does not like to dry out.

Plant started off having a pink fringe to the flower. As the plant has aged, the flowers have gotten lighter each year. Plant has been in this location 5 years.
