[ Peach (Prunus persica 'Carolina Belle') | Posted on September 17, 2019 ]

This is one of the most delicious peaches I have ever eaten. It was very juicy, nice and sweet with the perfect amount of tartness for my taste.

[ Plumcot (Prunus 'Flavor Supreme') | Posted on September 6, 2019 ]

'Flavor Supreme' is listed as a Pluot. That means it is more like a plum than an apricot. A Plumcot is any hybrid between a apricot and a plum. I only had two fruits on my new tree this year and I ate them before I thought about taking a picture. They were amazingly sweet and flavorful. The fruits on my other two Pluots trees, 'Flavor King' & 'Dapple Dandy' are still not ripe. I can hardly wait!!!

[ Common Fig (Ficus carica 'Chicago Hardy') | Posted on September 6, 2019 ]

I posted a picture of mine completely covered with 2 layers of bird-netting. When you are a Southern girl like I am and you love figs as much as I do, you don't want to share a single fig with critters. I guess I'm greedy. Smiling I live in Pleasant Grove, Utah and this past winter was it's first year so I made a pyramid out of 9 bales of straw and then fill the inside with loose straw. It worked perfectly!

[ Persian Lilac (Syringa persica) | Posted on September 1, 2019 ]

I purchased mine under the common name "Cut-Leaf Lilac." I like variety in everything that I collect, so when I saw those leaves I had to have it. My photo shows the leaves pretty well.

[ Goumi (Elaeagnus multiflora) | Posted on August 30, 2019 ]

Birds love the fruits of the 'Goumi' more than any fruit I have ever grown. I am a Master Gardener and was on their yearly garden tour many times when the fruit would be ripe. The birds would actually "scream" at the people when they interrupted their feast. It was comical!

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'On the Web') | Posted on August 16, 2019 ]

I posted two pictures of 'On The Web' and both are fresh blooms taken about the same time of day but on different days. The color varies this much from day to day but it is always beautiful.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Fabulous Fuchsia') | Posted on August 15, 2019 ]

This was given to me as 'Fabulous Fuchsia' but I'm wondering if it might be misnamed. The colors are right but I wouldn't call it ruffled. The information says it was introduced in 2010, but it looks like an older daylily to me.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Entrepreneur') | Posted on August 15, 2019 ]

'Entrepreneur' is listed as a DOUBLE but it was a single bloomer at least 90% of the time for me.
