[ Dahlia 'Clearview Orca' | Posted on April 2, 2015 ]

The plant was 51" tall and the bloom was 7"; When fully open it forms a ball of petals clear around the bottom.

[ Hyssop (Agastache cana 'Purple Pygmy') | Posted on January 5, 2012 ]

I planted three of these plants two years ago. I have one left. They haven't done so well but I think after reading this information that I have put it in an area that gets too much water. If it survives this winter I will move it to an area that is dryer. I really wanted it as it is woody and pink and has a neat fragrance.

[ Peacock Orchid (Gladiolus murielae) | Posted on November 14, 2011 ]

I have had these for two years and they are really lovely. The bloom sort of hangs on the end of a slightly downward facing short stem from the main branch, but the flowers show up well. It is so delicate and unusual.

[ Sea Holly (Eryngium 'Sapphire Blue') | Posted on November 14, 2011 ]

This plant is stunning. I have it in full sun all day in average garden soil and it is still vibrant. It starts out fairly silvery but deepens to a dark rich blue. The blooms last almost all summer. I have tried to save seeds this summer and will find out next spring if I have been successful. I lost one of the three I planted the first year (2008), moved the remaining two at least three times, and finally this summer (2011) both plants bloomed prolifically.
