Easy to grow from seed. Blooms yellow/red and fades to beautiful blush/mauve/purple shades over time. Long bloom season and tolerates dry conditions. Did succumb to earwig damage pretty severely in spots, so if that's a pest of concern I'd recommend a different plant.

Beautiful variety of Thunbergia alata. Two plants covered a 6 foot obelisk trellis in no time at all. Still blooming strong in mid-September. Can easily be cut back where you don't want it rambling. Gorgeous pairing with purple and blue flowers in the garden.
