[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum Tempting Tomatoes™ Garden Treasure) | Posted on July 22, 2017 ]

I have been growing tomatoes here for 30 years. I have grown Garden Treasure (as I have Garden Gem) from the University of Florida here in Maryland for 2 years. I have grown it among heirlooms and the hybrids Big Beef and Celebrity. So it hasn't been in strange places or where other tomatoes didn't grow well.

For me, it's a dud. It tends to be a bit mealy and tasteless. And I wanted it to be a success. It is disease-resistant and moderately productive. And it isn't fair to compare it to an heirloom so I won't. But My Big Beef are better-tasting and Celebrity at least as good and both more productive.

This is nearly identical to my review of Garden Gem, but they are about the same to me.

Sorry, and keep working on it...
