[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Black Falcon Ritual') | Posted on June 21, 2022 ]

That really makes a striking clump!

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mountain Violet') | Posted on June 25, 2019 ]

I think this is the one I have that is an early and long season bloomer. Love it, need to divide and spread it around a bit. Actually I think it is earliest and latest to bloom, if this is what I have.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Woman at the Well') | Posted on August 9, 2018 ]

Woman at the Well blooms profusely here in zone 4B. She is throwing up a new bloomscape August 9, but the other scapes are done blooming. Love this plant. Planning to move it to a spot where it can be better appreciated.

[ Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris (Iris 'Flaming Lips') | Posted on May 13, 2017 ]

This surprised me this year with it's strong chocolate color and very definite chocolate fragrance! I thought it was one of the "chocolate" varieties I planted in the recent past, but I found the tag and confirmed the name here.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Thorhalla') | Posted on August 6, 2015 ]

Thorhalla has several huge proliferations this year. It is a tall dramatic plant that is a great grower.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sagarmatha') | Posted on July 20, 2014 ]

This is a very beautiful, very white smaller bloom with a lovely green throat. However, in its first year it has started to bloom in July.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Wild One') | Posted on July 20, 2014 ]

This can be a beautiful plant, but it seems too big and sloppy to me. Maybe this is because it needs to be moved into more sun. If you don't deadhead, it looks really messy.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Piano Man') | Posted on July 20, 2014 ]

One of my favorites! Also, I think it is now classified as a dormant.
A good grower in zone 4B and a beauty.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Edgefield Glow') | Posted on June 7, 2014 ]

Edgefield Glow could also be called Edgefield GROW! This iris is growing like a weed in my iris bed. It's a beautiful golden color also.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Fire King') | Posted on September 12, 2013 ]

This plant amazed me with its neon color and large blooms! The sun was shining on the first ever bloom and I thought there was some kind of a red light in the garden. It is still blooming and only the lates are blooming now. Highly recommended.
