[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Glass Houses') | Posted on August 7, 2019 ]

2019 season blooms of Glass Houses opened flatter and look identical to "Catch the Wind."

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Green Inferno') | Posted on August 9, 2017 ]

This cultivar has consistently produced the most proliferations every year of any daylily that I have. This year I have 8 prolifs on 1 scape and 5 on another.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cary Grant') | Posted on July 17, 2016 ]

Colorfast and prolific bloomer.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'My Place or Yours') | Posted on July 14, 2016 ]

I have 3 fans with 5 way branching and 1 fan with 4 way, so it's in bloom every day here in 7A .

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mount Herman Majesty') | Posted on July 14, 2016 ]

Never ending blooms consistently show pleating here in 7A.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sunset Mesa') | Posted on July 14, 2016 ]

Planted fall 2015 and 5 way branching this year.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Plastic Fantastic') | Posted on July 5, 2016 ]

Heavy waxy tepals looking like plastic and thick scape.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Baby Dragon') | Posted on June 23, 2015 ]

This cv has wonderful branching and thick scape. The very long and wide foliage is unattractive to me and looks like a corn stalk.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Yellow Titan') | Posted on July 1, 2014 ]

7/1/14 - Measured scape @ 58" this morning.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Greatest Gift of All') | Posted on June 18, 2014 ]

94 degrees w/ high humidity today and impressed that the bloom looks just as good this evening as it did @ 6:30 a.m. The colors and diamond dusting are actually more intense this evening.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Over Heated') | Posted on August 11, 2013 ]

Rgistered as EV but dormant here in 7A.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Get Jiggy') | Posted on August 11, 2013 ]

Get Jiggy is registered as an EV but a dormant here in 7A.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Peru-B-Ruby') | Posted on July 22, 2013 ]

7-22
Strong scapes and prolific blooms since July 3 with 12 buds still to go. It's taken 3 years for the small fans to settle in, but worth it.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'American Freedom') | Posted on July 19, 2013 ]

American Freedom blooms non-stop here, producing as many as 20 blooms/day on 3 fans. Color holds up well in high heat and humidity, and no melting blooms. Color has never been as vibrant as hybridizer's photo and it's nocturnal here in 7A.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Linda's Magic') | Posted on July 17, 2013 ]

Holds color well in heat here in 7A. With temps in the mid nineties this week I have a clump of LM with 28 blooms today and it's one of the few that hasn't melted.

Edited to add 7/8/14 - sturdy scapes and on a rare occasion looks like a sherbert color polychrome w/
hints of orange and dark rose.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Phoenix Flying') | Posted on July 1, 2013 ]

Humongous blooms on a scape not sturdy enough to support them. I was holding this scape to get photo and then had to stake it. It will be leaving after last bloom.

[ Coral Bells (Heuchera 'Stainless Steel') | Posted on April 19, 2013 ]

Stainless Steel has a mauve overlay on leaves in spring.

[ Walter's Violet (Viola walteri) | Posted on August 2, 2012 ]

Developed for the Mt. Cuba Center in DE.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Waterfall Rainbow') | Posted on March 11, 2012 ]

The colors and pleating equal fabulosity.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Paul Aucoin') | Posted on February 20, 2012 ]

Best photo of PA I've seen.
