This plant is also known as Twister.

The leaves of the H.carnosa 'chelsea' are easily sun burned if left in the sun. It prefers bright shade.

Pereskia aculeata var. ruduscens: The top of the leaves is variegated with red and the underside of the leaves is almost completely bright red in summer, turning pinkish in winter.

It turns more & more rose colored in the winter, the entire leaf will turn the color of the tips in my photo.

This plant seems to grow just to propagate. You can just cut a piece of it off, stick it in some soil, and it roots. I've never had a plant easier to root!!!

This plant should always start out in partial shade during the hot summer months. As fall approaches it can be moved slowly into a more sunny spot. The more sun it gets, the more red the plant will develop on its tips and new growth.

These babies popped up in a pot of mixed plants I bought, and the original plant had already died, so these were a nice surprise.

I cut the stem up to healthy tissue, put it in the soil, and it rooted in less than 2 weeks.

Purchased this plant for $1. Got it home, watered and fed it, put it in the sun slowly until it was in full sun part of the day. Now it has lots of new growth.
