[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Moon Sworn') | Posted on March 28, 2023 ]

This daylily has really done well in my zone. I am surprised at its hardiness. Many similar blue eyed ones like Elfin Blues, Here's To You Bill Robinson, Mississippi Bill Robinson, Bumblebee Blues, Dejas Blues, that I got have struggled to grow in my garden. Some have never bloomed and some are still either double or single fan after more than 3 years. However, Moon Sworn has bloomed well and increased well in my garden. I highly recommend this blue eyed daylily for zone 6. Not sure if it does well in zone 5 or less though.

This daylily is so awesome and so beautiful. I highly recommend it. It has the best substance of all the daylilies that I grow and will take sun, heat, humidity, rain, wind in stride. I wish all daylilies had this daylily's substance. The colors of this daylily are also amazing as well. It can produce blooms in color of peach, cream, polychrome. The flowers are enhanced by a gorgeous ruffled edge and a very green throat. As if that isn't enough, it is endowed with a fantastic budcount!

Congrats on your very first set of registered daylilies, Regina! It is beautiful! Wishing you many more wonderful registrations in the years to come.

[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Dark Galaxy') | Posted on October 11, 2019 ]

This tomato is so delicious! Unfortunately, it is not a high yield variety. The whole season, it produced only 10 fruits for me. But every fruit tasted so good, sweet and flavors are balanced. Very nice!

My plant improves considerably in its second year. Its flowers are huge and sunfast. The beautiful color and form last well into late in the day. I am very happy with this daylily.

[ Spanish Bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica) | Posted on March 21, 2019 ]

This bulb grows and multiplies like weeds. They pop up everywhere. Maybe good in a natural setting but not good in beds with permanent planting such as roses and peonies.

Late bloomer; flowers have nice gold edge but bloom below foliage; rebloom

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Willow Dean Smith') | Posted on August 14, 2018 ]

This daylily, when crossed with Old Time Italian, produces very good looking offspring. I got some seeds on the LA with this cross, WILLOW DEAN SMITH x OLD TIME ITALIAN. The seeds gave me a couple of seedlings that have the nice look of Willow Dean Smith.

[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Black Beauty') | Posted on August 13, 2017 ]

This tomato tends to crack for me. Also the flavor is not as good as Purple Cherokee. The plant also is a low yielder compared to Purple Cherokee.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Tooth Talk') | Posted on October 2, 2016 ]

This is a very vigorous grower for me. In spite of it being a new plant this year, the fans managed to send up a rebloom scape in August. It was also very pod and pollen fertile for me this summer. I am very happy with the performance of this daylily.
