[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Traveler') | Posted on January 22, 2014 ]

Planted this variety in 2012 and found it to be as high a producer of fruit as the best hybrids. It is an heirloom, open-pollinated variety, so I didn't expect it to be that productive. Pink outside, red inside, excellent flavor, and production that lasted into fall, which doesn't occur too often here in the hot humid South. It is one of those varieties I classify as a keeper. It wasn't affected by disease and critters as much as my other varieties.

[ Curly Parsley (Petroselinum crispum var. crispum) | Posted on January 22, 2014 ]

Most descriptions say that the Italian Flat Leaf parsley has stronger flavor than the curled variety, but I find it just the opposite, especially when chopping for cooking. Also, after growing both kinds for well over 10 years, I have found that the Italian flat seems to be a little bit hardier.

Surpised at the high production of large pink fruit that lasted through the summer. My variety was called Arkansas Traveler, which I think is the same plant. It is one of the highest OP producers that I have found.

[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Big Beef') | Posted on August 28, 2013 ]

One of the best tomatoes I've planted that is a high producer of large red fruits that last through the hot, humid, disease ridden conditions in my environment. It is dependable.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Apricot Sparkles') | Posted on October 5, 2012 ]

Outstanding bloom period and display. Seems to always be in bloom. Sparkles. Healthy

[ Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Mule Team') | Posted on September 26, 2012 ]

Planted 2012. Outstanding production, fruit size and taste. Fairly disease resistant. A mainstay.

[ Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'La France') | Posted on September 21, 2012 ]

Trying to keep this plant healthy. Have moved it twice from deep shade to lighter shade.

[ Rose (Rosa 'Amelia') | Posted on October 3, 2011 ]

Very hardy and durable. Survives drought well as I have experienced. Full Spring blooms with periodic blooms through the summer but not as great as Spring.
