On my first year plant obtained from Floyd Cove in March of this year, the stats on this plant provided by the hybridizer were very close. The blooms were slightly larger than registered, the scape height was an exact match, and the bud count was 20 blooms per scape (counting all current blooms formed on the scape today). I am also pleasantly surprised that both scapes are growing two proliferations each! Astoundingly, one proliferation seems to be growing its own scape. Will take pictures of this as it grows large enough to see clearly in a photo.

I obtained this plant from Floyd Cove in March of this year. The first bloom was open today, and my plant is true to all the stats listed by the hybridizer. Malibu Barbie is a stunning addition to the garden with huge blooms and stature, making it a standout in the garden.

On my first year plant obtained from Floyd Cove, the scapes were 26 inches and the flowers close to 6 inches. This was a robust performer for a first year plant. Each scape had 20 blooms.

One of my first cultivars to bloom this year. It is currently sending up more scapes; the first set of scapes are about halfway through blooming.

Not sure what this cultivar does in other regions, but here in SC, it is sending up rebloom scapes.

This is the second year that Fooled Me has been in my garden.

This plant consistently grows to 33 to 34 inches in my garden, with a bloom that is well over its 6 inch description. It holds its color well in full sun all day during our hot summer. Waiting to see if a rebloom occurs. Easy to set pods also. Purchased from Shaw's Sunshine Garden.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Flamingo Fantasy') | Posted on July 4, 2015 ]

Although not listed specifically as a rebloomer, Flamingo Fantasy consistently reblooms each year in my garden. It is usually one of my first to bloom at the beginning of the season, and reblooms just as most other late bloomers are fading. Beautiful plant foliage also.

Edited to add that Flamingo Fantasy is currently blooming with its third set of scapes. (August 28)
