Have looked at other images of IB Whistle and see that striations around beard on the true 'Whistle' look more like 'stripes' rather than 'speckles' as on mine. Color also appears much darker, more sharply defined. My flower also does not seem to carry the white center in standards! So frustrating to find oneself with another misnamed flower! Have no idea what it should be, but am now convinced it is not 'Whistle'. Can this image please be removed from the database? Thanks |
