This a beautifully colored basil, with some purple accents on the green leaves. It has a very pleasant taste and wonderful fragrance. I've found that it can get a little tall and lanky if not pinched back early. It does not seem to flower as quickly as some varieties, so it is a long-lived annual in garden or container.
