    Medium-sized thread-leafed agave from west-central Mexico. Solitary. Very ornamental. Requires no maintenance until it flowers.

    Closely related to A. filifera (and at times treated as a subspecies of it) but distinguished by not offsetting and having longer, thinner, more pliable leaves.

    Young plants may be difficult to distinguish from other thread leaf agaves, but the actual threads do not really manifest until about 6-8" pot size.
