Small, offsetting aloe from Madagascar with abundant fine teeth and white, bell-shaped flowers. Floriferous. Unusual in cultivation and critically endangered in habitat. Previously assigned to its own genus, Guillauminia, after the name of the person who described it, based on the unusual shape and color of the flowers, which are wider than long. Related to A. perrieri and A. bellatula, two very similar plants from Madagascar which also have bell-shaped flowers, though of a pink or red color. A. perrieri is a larger plant.
