As soon as I saw a whole hedge of these floribundas about 30 years ago, Charisma became my favorite rose, and it has remained my favorite ever since.

It's prone to black spot, but it grows equally well in sun or shade in my garden. The vivid orange of the blooms can brighten up the darkest corners. It's a vibrant and cheerful rose.

I grow Charisma in the front rose garden bed I call Floribundaville. Charisma makes a small flower, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in punch. The color is striking. Everyone that sees it wants one. Does need spraying for blackspot in my humid Long Island, NY garden.
