A 1985 hybrid slicing cultivar from Hollar. Resistant scab, angular leaf spot, downy mildew, and powdery mildew. 2010 has been hard on Cucumbers. Spring has been hot and dry with triple digit temperature arriving in early June. Olympian has done as well as my control varieties. It shows great potential under less adverse conditions. June 2 2011, Olympian is setting fruits abundantly and well ahead of Thunderbird, Talledega, and Early Fortune. It is quite early under good conditions.
