A long, curved, horn-shaped pepper whose name literally means "Horn of the Bull." These are mild and sweet, and are wonderful for roasting or grilling. I also like slicing the mature red fruits into rings, to add a great color and fruity flavor to salads. My kids particularly like them stuffed with cheese seasoned with buffalo wing seasoning.

I had good luck saving seed and planting in subsequent years with this pepper.

Although I have been growing peppers for many years, I have not grown this variety until this year. When you look at pictures of varieties of plants you are
considering growing, you usually think, Oh, that won't get as big/as pretty/as whatever. The fruit on this variety DOES get as big as the picture! One fruit off of my plant measured 8 and one half inches long. Not a great big plant, but a heavy producer and beautiful to look at.

Harvested two peppers (super early!) from CSS Project Grow community garden site, picture shown of first harvest. Yummy with scrambled eggs this a.m! No need to remove the seeds. Mild, delicious flavor. Will definitely grow again.
