Minnesota Midget is very easy to grow and is a fuss-free cantaloupe. Small fruits set abundantly. The taste is good -- not divine, but good. No powdery mildew issues.

This variety is a small size for just one person. It is a melon with nice texture, juicy and fragrant, but a lack of sweetness, almost bland. Easy to grow and high yield. I would suggest growing this and a regular sweet one for pollination to hybridize and hope to get a melon with good balance.
