MrsBinWY On June 24, 2019 Transplanted
On 6-26-2019, planted 3 by Iris ensata in front rain garden. This was my least-favorite choice of planting sites for this species, and the plants here have done the best.

cool room temp; soaked a few hours; 20 seeds from Seedrat

I sent a few seeds to janinilulu (arrived March 23, 2021). Hers started germinating within a couple weeks (by April 8). She put them in a pot, lightly covered them and forgot about them in her greenhouse. The benches were getting full. She needed more space, so she put the pot underneath for a few days, noticed germination and moved the pot up top again. The temperature gauge was set at 55ish. The weather had been very warm and sunny during the day, so it had been pretty hot in there in the daytime. An excellent lesson for next time!
