Golden Dawn is listed 3 times in The International Daffodil Register & Classified List at www.rhs.org.uk. Two are yellow division 1 entries - one registered and w/ 1st flowering note of pre 1927 from C. Goodman of New Zealand; the other is w/ 1st flowering date noted as pre 1936 from West and Fell of Australia.
The division 8 entry detailed above is a good choice for southern climes in the USA. It is also recommended as a good forcer.
    Distinctive coloration.
