This small carnivorous plant forms very compact rosettes. Every year, they will produce many gemmae per rosette. These are tiny round dots/capsules that form clustered around the center of the rosette. These can be harvest by lightly slapping the tops, picking them off with Q-Tips, or with fingertips into a small container. These do not last long in storage. Gemmae are like tiny baby plants inside a capsule, ready to grow into a new plant. These can be planted on top of soil for new plants to be created. If not removed, they can and WILL rot your whole sundew, so it's important to harvest these whether you want them or not.
Gemmae should be planted on the top of the soil, generally, higher humidity will help germination. Germination can take 1-3 weeks, and maturing is very slow, but interesting.
