An open pollinated straight neck introduced in 1996. Vigorous with good yields. The most tasteless summer squash that I have ever grown

I decided to try this variety as I had some seeds I bought from Burpee. I started my seedlings late in the season, so they did grow fast due to the warm weather. While I currently have mostly male blossoms on my plants, there are some small squash set already and I am looking forward to eating my first Saffron summer squash soon.
