I have had this tree in our yard for 10 years, It has always bloomed and looked beautiful. However, this year the leaves are VERY slow coming and they are wilting. Almost like it may be dying.Obviously, in the NW, water has not been a problem. Can anyone tell what the problem might be?

Fruit of this tree tastes like peanut butter. The fruit turns red when ripe and resembles a small cherry tomato. The seed is a drupe.
