Like the other Dutch Iris, these grow from small bulbs instead of rhizomes as do Bearded Iris. Very easy bulb to plant as they are small, the size of onion sets and easy to plant as they don't need to be set very deeply. Like most Duch iris, Silvery Beauty looks really stunning in large clusters of blooms.
Located on the north shore of Nassau County Long Island, NY zone 6/7 were it is humid in the summer.
