Salvia 'Raspberry Delight' was introduced by David Salman of High Country Gardens (Santa Fe, NM). It is a hybrid cold-hardy Texas bush sage and is native to the United States.

I have been growing Raspberry Delight, since 2006 and love it! A big plus for the plant to me is that it is hardy to zone 6, whereas most of the greggii Salvias are hardy to zone 7. It is long blooming, low maintenance, beautiful, and attracts hummingbirds.

It is also rabbit resistant, which is good for me because we have a lot of wild rabbits in the yard.
