Another winner of a salvia! 'Evolution' is a 2006 AAS Flower Award winner. Becoming more popular with gardeners and more available since its introduction. Beautiful purple color and easy to grow. The stems are purple too! Blooms from late spring to frost. Dependable during the growing season. Great container plant by itself or used as a thriller in a container. Doesn't need deadheading, but I try to remove the faded flowers during the season to promote more flowering. Deer resistant. Stunning when grown in masses. Needs good drainage.
