In 2012, High Country Gardens (Santa Fe, NM) introduced this beautiful plant! In their 2012 printed catalog, they stated that it was a HCG mail order exclusive.

Brakelights is the result of over 10 years of breeding and evaluation by nurseryman and native plant expert Ron Gass of Mountain States Wholesale Nursery in Phoenix, AZ.
