Lovely old (1910) rambler rose; semi-double cream to pure white with a fruity fragrance that carries on the air; Most list it as capable of growing to 20 feet with no rebloom, but ours has rebloomed in the fall after I pruned it when it finished the spring bloom, probably because of our warmer climate. The foliage is very glossy and here it has a little blackspot but not enough to cause problems. We love this rose, a real winner and asset to our property.

    Noted by Antique Rose Emporium:
"Sliver Moon is a lovely, semi-double, creamy white Wichuraiana hybrid with showy golden stamens and flowers as large as those of its other parent, the Cherokee Rose. The plant forms a large, cascading shrub or vigorous climber and has shiny, healthy foliage. The best display is usually in the spring, but scattered flowers can appear at any time on an established plant. Silver Moon in bloom on a warm night is a picture of glowing beauty and the fragrance can permeate the garden."
