This classic small-flowered white (w/ orange rim on cup) daffodil was bred by West Coast breeder Grant Mitsch in the mid 50s. Bithynia is both seed and pollen fertile. It has been utilized as a seed parent 10 times and as a pollen parent 3 times by hybridizers in the United States from 1962 to, most recently, 1992.
