Amaranth plants are easy to grow and make delicious greens and grains, as well as being wonderful ornamental plants in the garden. The seeds are known to be one of the most complete proteins available from any plant.

Direct sow when soil is warm, barely covering the tiny seeds. Thin to 1-2 feet apart. They often self seed. They can also be started indoors and transplanted once the weather is warmer.
