    Sweetly fragrant tazetta-type daffodil. Its small stature and flowering habit lend it well to forcing in containers or water (like Paperwhites) Old House Gardens recommends giving tazetta 14 to 21 days in the dark at temperature between 35 and 50° before top growth commences; this establishes a supportive root system.
    This selection does very well in gardens of the southeast US (Z6 - 10) where they get baked in summer heat.
    Heirloom from 1800.

    The specifics noted above are from the commercialized daffodil.
