My Hyperion Elite always blooms much larger than registered with 8-inch+ blooms and has a grand presence in the garden. Pairing that with faithful rebloom makes this a treasured plant.

Hyperion Elite may be a simple flower and an older introduction that has been around for many years, but it is a stunner in the garden, probably because of its simplicity, but also because of the large flowers.

I'm not sure of the exact genetic relationship between Hyperion, Hyperion Elite, and Hyperion Supreme. With the exception of Hyperion, the parentage is not listed by AHS.
Saw the three together at Teich & McColgan Daylily Farm here in Bucks County PA. They certainly share one trait: fantastic fragrance.
