This was my first yellow rose I bought back in '09 from Home Depot. I had to move it once as I had it on the west side of the house where it got very little sun to the east side, where it's in full sun. The soil it's in is incredibly poor -- nasty and sandy. This rose has got to be the hardiest rose on the planet. Not only did it survive the move, but it survives in the bad soil, being 100% neglected (forgot to water it one summer until I saw it bloom, then remembered I put a rose there), buried in weeds, no winter protection at ALL for my zone 5... and it just keeps coming back & blooming every year! Not too good as far as vase-life, though, and doesn't have the strongest scent. But a real trouper!

This amazingly vigorous rose has survived numerous gopher attacks in my garden and has been growing and blooming for 25 years in spite of its having displayed symptoms of rose mosaic virus that entire time.
