This garden-worthy species does not become woody at the base, retaining its attractive small mint-like green foliage down to the ground & forming a rounded upright shrub to 3’ tall. Showy, fuzzy tawny orange tubular flowers are held in whorls on the 3 ft. stems most of the year in mild climates, late Spring until Fall in warmer climates.

Easy, fast-growing and disease resistant, this plant is tolerant of many conditions. Best appearance is with fairly rich well-drained soil. Good cut flowers. Self-sows. From South Africa.
