My Monstera adansonii cutting has been propagating in water for 1 week. New roots are shooting out fast and look healthy, BUT there is a cottony, fuzzy, clear gel-like film on the roots. I try to rinse it off, but it won't go away.
I change the water about every 3 days, give or take. What is this and will it transfer issues into the soil when I transfer it into soil? Help!
