Noted by Antique Rose Emporium:
"We found this rose outside of Austin, in Copeland, Texas. We gave it the study name of "Phalaenopsis" as it resembled the orchid of the same bright pink color. It is a marvelously dependable little rose, blooming often for us. Clusters of very showy vivid cerise pink single petalled roses are produced in sprays and held above the bush. We use it in landscapes and containers as it is nicely rounded and has clean healthy foliage."
