A really easy rose to grow. I do spray my roses with fungicide to prevent blackspot but Home Run doesn't ever need spraying. Lots of lovely and large single red blooms most all summer long. Very thorny so be sure and wear your thick gloves when pruning!

    Noted by Antique Rose Emporium:
" 'Home Run' provides the gardener with a truly dark "fire engine" red rose. This healthy, chunky shrub will grow 3 to 4 feet and is well suited for containers where it bright color can be a accent."
