Olde Romeo was wildly popular when it was introduced about 25 years ago, but it's almost impossible to find today. It's a hybrid tea with old-fashioned blooms, cupped and quartered, in an intriguing color. The dark red petals with a dark purple reverse look almost black. The fragrance is also old-fashioned, a strong damask scent.
