This rose was completely obscured by a huge Lady Banks rose in my garden for more than 20 years. It would valiantly grow through the top of the Banksia each year and show off a couple of blooms at the top, just enough to remind me that it was there. The Banksia was removed in June this year, exposing Peppermint Delight, which had only three canes left. It's now October and Peppermint Delight has sent up at least 6 or 7 new canes and is growing across two arbors. Talk about viable!
