    'Perianth and other petaloid segments very broad, blunt or slightly truncate, minutely mucronate, creamy white, concave, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the outer whorl a little inflexed, with margins incurling at apex; the inner whorl shorter, more strongly inflexed, with margins more heavily incurling; corona segments half as long as the outer whorl, loosely arranged between the whorls, more tightly clustered at center, broad, pale yellowish pink, shading to deep orange-pink at rim, wavy or frilled.'
