'Fls 4-5 per stem, rounded, 50 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, only slightly mucronate, light greenish yellow 5D, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments somewhat inflexed, with margins wavy; corona bowl-shaped, lightly ribbed, strong orange 24A-25A, mouth sometimes deeply lobed and overlapping, wavy, with rim entire or occasionally notched. Mid-season. Strongly scented. Resembles a much earlier-flowered 'Matador.'
