'Fls 3-5 per stem, rounded, approx. 50 mm wide; perianth segments roundish, very broad, truncate, with white mucro prominent, reflexed, plane or somewhat concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly spreading, creased or with margins recurved; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded and lobed, with rim crenate. Resembles a somewhat shorter-stemmed 'Royal Connection'.
