This is a wonderful German Hybrid

    (P. incarnata x P. cincinnata) .. Developed by Roland Fischer...It's a tetraploid very similar to P. 'Incense, but with much larger flowers and without the harmful virus.. It tolerates heat well..

It is a wonderfully strong grower with abundant flowers.. and sets fruit to most all of them once the plant is developed.. this is due to it being a tetraploid.. Tetraploidy is of interest to hybridizers as it can give rise to larger flowers and fruit and more vigorous and hardy plants.. as it has four sets of chromosomes.. rather than one set.. you can see in the pictures there's flowers and buds galore ... and plenty of fruits also... these plants grew from seeds I got from a German hybridizer.
